Distinction between sex and gender

Sex and gender are words that they are sometimes used instead of each other, whereas they are different.

Sex: it is biological dimensions of people. Sex is biological differences between women and men.

Gender: it is women and men’s characteristics. Gender is culturally considered to be suitable for women and men. Gender is a set of expectations of men and women that they are expected to what they do in specific situations. Gender is social. Gender is roles, ideas and social behavior which are chosen by society. In this regard, roles and behaviors of men and women are different in different cultures.
